Come and explore our Arid Explorer’s Garden
The garden is located next to the visitor centre and took a year to complete from the first design stage and wouldn't have been possible without the suppport of our wonderful volunteers, the Friends of the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden.
It offers a fenced nature play area featuring a shelter shed, mini bird hide, logs and rocks for climbing & building, a dry creekbed and a “red sand” sand pit, and more... Let your imagination run wild.
It's not just the kids having fun though, parents can enjoy a quiet coffee while they watch their kids explore and have fun – it doesn't get much better than that!
The Arid Explorers Garden is open every day (during the Visitor Centre opening hours) and has a shelter shed which can be booked for private use.
